Help Gesu School provide innovative education in North Philadelphia! Spend a fall evening in the city on the Gesu rooftop with skyline views, outdoor games, delicious food, and more! Young professionals and friends will enjoy beer, wine, and appetizers, while supporting 450 Gesu School students.

Congratulations to the Gesu Class of 2019, who graduated on June 12 in the Church of the Gesu. We are proud of our 8^th graders' accomplishments in academics, soft skills, and service. Our Gesu graduates earned $465,488 in scholarships and financial aid! Thank you to Gesu teachers and staff, families, board members, and friends for supporting our students and making this milestone possible. We look forward to learning of our students’ future achievements.

Students celebrated earning their diplomas and special scholarships, expressing their joy through prayer and song. To demonstrate their gratitude, the Class of 2019 presented a donation to the Haitian missions and shared roses with their families.

Thank you to all who supported the 25^th Anniversary Gesu Gala! The gala drew nearly 500 attendees and raised more than $500,000! Gesu is grateful for this incredible support for our mission. Your generosity enables Gesu School to deliver innovative, holistic education and ensure that North Philadelphia’s children achieve bright futures.

Every day, Gesu provides our students with an innovative, life-changing education. To continue as a trailblazer in urban education, Gesu relies on the annual support of donors. The One Day Challenge plays a vital role in raising the funds necessary to offer an enriching learning environment.

Challenge #1: If 650 friends make a donation, in any amount, on March 14, The Z Foundation will contribute $15,000 to Gesu School!

Gesu School is honored to announce Winston J. Churchill as our 2019 Gesu Spirit Medalist. He will be recognized with Gesu’s highest honor at the 25th Anniversary Gesu Gala on May 9, 2019, for his extraordinary dedication to Gesu School.

The Gesu Gospel Choir has been invited to perform at the 2018 Rittenhouse Tree Lighting! Come hear the voices of the choir usher in the holiday season and bring joy to our city at this festive event. We hope to see you there! Kate Bilo from CBS 3 and The CW Philly will host this special occasion.

As our gift to the community, Gesu School presents our annual Christmas concert in the Church of the Gesu at 6:30 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018. This year, we welcome special guests from St. Joseph's Prep Dei Gloriam Vocal Ensemble.

Gesu School hosted its 21^st Annual Symposium on Transforming Inner-City Education on November 2, 2018. As a national model for inner-city education, Gesu School remains at the forefront of identifying new ways to better serve students across the country and sharing these key learnings. They symposium has been a time-honored tradition for these purposes. 

Steve Pemberton, c-suite executive for Globoforce, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Monster.com, and best-selling author of A Chance in the World, now a major motion picture, gave a hope-filled keynote address on Everyday Heroes: Unveiling the Power of Educators.
