Thank you to everyone who transformed children's lives in North Philadelphia by making the 2014 Gesu Gala 20th Anniversary Celebration a smashing success! Nearly 400 people joined us for the celebration at the Kimmel Center on May 1st, and we raised over $311,000!

Our student artists are proud to know that their artwork brought in $2,390 through the silent auction.

Garces Catering (of Iron Chef Jose Garces fame) kicked off the celebration with a fabulous spread while guests enjoyed dinner music by Jeff Byrne and company.

The evening's program featured the presentation of the Gesu Spirit Medal to Mrs. Elizabeth R. Moran and Rev. Neil Ver'Schneider, S.J.

Guests also enjoyed a lively performance by the Grammy-award winning ensemble Sweet Honey In The Rock and alumna Carol Maillard '65, as well as several selections by the Gesu Gospel Choir.

We thank gala co-chairs Marie & Pat McCormick, Jenn & Carter Sims, and Lindsey & Mark Wolfington, as well as the gala committee for their tireless efforts on behalf of our children.
