Gesu sets a One Day Challenge Record!

Thanks to more than 800 donors, Gesu exceeded our One Day Challenge goals and set a new record! Our community is filled with gratitude.

Gesu raised more than $108,000!
Students donated $910.00 with their “change for change” initiative.

Special thanks to our supporters who contributed matching gifts:

  • The Z Foundation
  • Tim & Ellen Foster
  • Mary Kate Leonard
  • K10 Kids Foundation
  • Three anonymous donors.

Each gift supports Gesu’s mission: to empower 430 students to transcend poverty. As we emerge from the pandemic, each contribution provides hope and critical resources. Gesu will continue to deliver innovative academics and our soft skills curriculum. We offer ongoing counseling, social services, and spiritual support. And we nurture students long into the future through our graduate support program.

As a Catholic school, Gesu teaches our students to serve their wider community and to become young “women and men for others.” To share our resources, and in the spirit of reconciliation and justice, Gesu pledges to donate 5% of One Day Challenge proceeds to Jesuit Refugee Services to assist Ukrainian refugees.
